Mel has been investing in convertible securities, REITs and dividend-paying securities since the 1960's, when he established a retirement fund for his company, Cutler Associates, Inc., an architecture, engineering and contracting firm also based in Worcester, Mass. He registered as an investment adviser with the Securities & Exchange Commission in 1986 and incorporated his registration into Cutler, Wentzell & Moynihan (CWM) in 2000. He converted CWM to Cutler Capital Management, LLC in 2003 to focus more specifically on convertibles, REITs and dividend-paying securities. He also was a founder and treasurer of Flagship Bank & Trust in Worcester and a founder and chairman of Madison Bank and its holding company, Madison Banc Shares (NASDAQ: MDBS), in Palm Harbor, Fla.
David N. Grenier
President
David has 17 years of banking experience, including 12 years at Fleet Boston Financial, serving most recently as Senior Vice President of the Fleet Private Clients Group and as Market Leader for the Worcester and Springfield, Mass. region. He led a team of investment and estate planning professionals that was responsible for managing $2 billion in assets for wealthy individuals and families, institutions and charitable organizations. He is a graduate of Amherst College.
Allan M. Kline
Director of Business Development
A long-time client of Cutler Capital Management before joining the firm, Allan liked the investment style of the company so much, he came out of retirement to serve as Director of Business Development.
Allan also gained first-hand knowledge about convertible securities while using them to raise capital in his former position as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Skyworks Solutions, Inc. of Woburn, Mass.
Before joining Skyworks, Kline served as CFO of FiberMark, Inc., Brattleboro, Vt.; Acterna Corporation, Burlington, Ma.; and CrossComm Corp., Marlboro, Ma.
He also served as Vice President at O’Connor, Wright Wyman Inc., Boston; and as a Director of Acterna and CrossComm. He is currently a director of BTI Systems, Ottawa, CN.; and the Massachusetts Network Communications Council. He began his career at Arthur Young & Company in 1969, where he was a partner for six years.
He graduated from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, with a bachelor’s degree in accounting and from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School with an MBA.

Geoffrey K. Dancey, CFA
Securities Analyst
Mr. Dancey is a Securities Analyst with the General Partner. He creates and operates the General Partner's proprietary screening and computerized trading processes. He provides investment analysis of current holdings and prospective investment opportunities. He is a graduate of Clark University MBA program.

Barbara A. Crosbie
Client Manager
Barbara handles account administration responsibilities for Cutler Capital's clients, brokers, accountants and institutional custodians. She has worked with Mel Cutler for more than 28 years.
